Hi,
I have now bypassed the voltage selector but the connections to the switch became very crowded. I have run a single lead from the switch and soldered the switch lead, 240v primary and lamp connections together. I have then placed several heat shrink covers over the end and cable tied these together so that they wont suffer excessive vibration over years to come (probably overkill). Is connecting and heat shrinking like this acceptable as I really like to use direct connections wherever possible and dont like using block connectors.
