I will be planting 3 apple trees in my garden later this year. I will also be converting most of the tatty lawn into a wildflower meadow. There are already quite a few wild flowers in there so it should happen pretty much naturally.
Was out walking in the Chilterns yesterday and saw a field full of large daisies. Clearly grown as a crop but didn't look like they were for the cut flower business. No idea why they were being grown like that.
