Used the mower today; the primer paint is "resistant" to petrol , i.e. did not peel off, but it did stain.
I've just obtained some Canbrush Post Office Red top coat, so it will be interesting to see how that compares, during spraying, to the primer.
I just love having my old Suffolk Punch mower "looking nice" for the summer
