I bought a "filament" LED lamp about 2 years ago shaped like a normal BC GLS bulb and 6500K daylight but it developed a fault in that it flashes on and off. To look inside means smashing the lamp. As no electronics are visible what there are must be in the BC base.
As others here have used LED filament lamps with no troubles maybe I shall try buying another.
I recently bought two LED BC GLS lamps not filament types, 4000K at 15W sold under the brand Paul Russell and they have been very good and no noticeable RFI.
I wonder f the lamp pictured in the opening post was made at the Osram works in Hammersmith. (Now a Tesco store but the Osram sign was still there last time I looked).
