Good point about replacing the SSD! I have a spare new windows 7 installation disc that I could put on the new one.
I think I've probably forgotten most of what I learnt during the build but although I fitted a sata 2.5 SSD I remember a strange looking socket on the motherboard for a ssd. I shall have to dig out the installation book.
Don't actually use it much it was built for processing raw photos in lightroom and photoshop but use it mostly now for recording records as wav files. I only have programs on the ssd but I am aware of how it all fills up with stuff we don't want.
