In a home or home office environment I think you'd have to have very abnormal usage to have wear problems on any decent SSD. i guess there are poor quality SSDs around but i'm not buying those. Stick to reputable makes and read the reviews.

Servers are another matter. They can have very heavy disk usage.

I don't know how well the disks' internal diagnostics can spot and report wear problems.
