Mesh is only for low speed industrial. Rule of thumb, each additional WiFi connected via repeater means all speed is at least halved.
The only sane way to extend is a wifi point (airpoint) fed by ethernet from main router. Or if more than 100m, use fibre or a switch as an ethernet repeater.
It's common for wired 1Gbps Cat5e to manage over 400Mbps between computers and WiFi to only manage 5 Mbps unless it's in same room or open plan and no interference from competing WiFi, BT, wireless keyboards, Drones, Analogue Video senders etc. The 5.8GHz band can be less busy than 2.4GHz, but range is rubbish and more easily blocked by a door or ceiling.
Power line ethernet are really wide band transmitters using wiring as an aerial. Not one model would pass RFI if they tested in pairs and with data. The faster ones interfere with FM and airband and have been known to block DSL delivered on overhead wires.
