You might be interested in the Si4713 integrated RDS encoder and stereo FM transmitter.
I've been using the Adafruit breakout board (£25) with a RPi3 to broadcast a 60s streaming radio station around the house 24/7 for a couple of years now.
There is a Chinese clone available now (£11) but I haven't tried it.
Seems to work well but I had to increase the RDS deviation to 2.5kHz (from 2kHz) to get reliable decoding.
