It could never have happened by being dropped, unless it was from the top of the Empire State Building! It was packed more than sufficiently to withstand normal rough handling.
It could only have resulted by something else like a very heavy load being dropped on it .
It was sent with insurance but what a struggle it was to fill in the claim online. It took Gill about 20 min to complete whilst trying to source all the evidence and information they wanted. I would think a lot of people would be put off claiming.
It was a unique little radio which worked very well, it made a funny little farting noise when you turned it off.
