Is it even legal to sell that extractor in the UK as it is fitted with a modified Schuko mains connector?
When Helen bought a food slicer from a German company a few years ago they were careful to enclose a good quality Schuko to 13A adaptor with it. In fact the supplied lead was detachable twin flex fitted with a 2-pin Europlug, so I swapped it for a similar lead with a 13A plug and put the adaptor on the coffee filter machine that we bought in a sale on one of our continental forays!
