Sam, thank you. Very detailed photos which have thrown up some interesting finds here.
If you ever get a chance, I'd be interested to see the arrangement of your multiply by switch, as mine is a modern replacement which has fallen apart internally. There are some modern resistors to make a divider chain, but would be interested to see how this was arranged originally.
