A good and sensible question, I was confused for a long time myself as to whether the impedance of each half winding had to match one valve and reading the literature there still seems to be some uncertainty.
The perfect matching is an irrelevant unless you are looking for the "perfect sound" beloved by audiophools. A mismatch of 50% will make little or no effect to the ear which is an imperfect organ and gets worse as we age.
Could I suggest PCL83 valves as they are cheap as chips being TV valves of which there is a glut and the heaters are an easy to satisfy 12.6v?
