I buy a small number of semiconductor devices from China/HK and have so far had no problems but then I have never tested them to the outer limits so to speak.
Mainly I buy capacitors from the Far East and have never found a duff one.
Perhaps I am just lucky.
Do components get made anywhere other than out east these days?
