I removed the plate holding the range selector switch and tuning coils. Gave the switch a very very good clean out. It took a few attempts, plus re-flowing some dry looking joints and it's got the ranges of the generator working.
There does appear to be some non linearity across some of the ranges, but nothing too crazy for what it is.
The 8-23mhz range needs some further investigation as when on the 8mhz mark the signal drops off, but returns when a smudge over the 8Mhz mark.
A few of the ranges needed some adjustment to bring them closer to what they should be. Adjustment screws shown below. Overall not perfect, but working. I've not tested any modulation yet and the multiply by switch still needs addressing.
