That's fine at the moment but, if you intend using the radio when you've got it working it would be a good idea to fit a suitable series resistor to drop the surplus voltage when it is plugged into the 240V supply.
Unfortunately you have no way of knowing if or by how much the valves may have already suffered from being overrun if it has been used on UK mains for any length of time.
