I wonder is it the same idea? Two triodes and a rectifier.
Modulation by using a transformer driven by audio amp / osc that is in the HT to the RF oscillator?
The modulation transformer died on mine and I used the CT of a 230/115 primary to HT, the two ends to the two triodes and the secondary for the feedback for the audio oscillator. A capacitor sets audio frequency when osc rather than external audio is selected (I think the Mod/CW switch).
I can imagine the layout differs, but since most generators, even some transistor ones are the same circuit I imagine the circuit can't be very different. The attenuator is pretty simple.
