Interesting. A younger brother of my father married my mum's sister in the 1930s, which is how they met.
'Courting' was a somewhat complicated process in those days and I recall my mum telling me that her mother came along on all their dates to act as chaperone!
They married not long before the start of WWII when my father would have been 43 and my mother 27. I was born in 1944.

My father died in 1947 at the age of 52 from gastric ulcers. I was 3½ and my mother was carrying my younger brother - he was born 5 months later.

I remember the name and you will find him listed on the Members list. I haven't looked but you should be able to find and read his posts. My father had no technical interest in wireless, as it was then known, so any similarity stops there.
