I wonder is the chassis I have, missing mains & audio transformers from a Pye 19?
Even the basic Pye sets work very well. The finished result looks OK.
I have a selection of UK & Irish Pyes.
A) I have some.
B) I have no hardboard
C) I whitened the inside of the cabinet to cover the sooty stains
D) Its different but easily replaced
E) I just wanted to try it, I thought it will be easy to route the slots, its easy to work.
I know its odd but believe that there was a manufacturer who chromed the chassis and I thought the Pye blue chassis would look good.
Thanks for the interest. Pye 19A chassis should be easy to establish, let me know if you want any further details to help.
