The do gooders already scotched an off shore array that was planned for the South West , said it would look an eyesore and spoil the view.....a parallel.... lots and lots of leisure/fishing craft in Falmouth bay, are they spoiling the look of the sea.....could be viewed on as litter...
I'm sceptical at the moment about all the electric car malarkey, the way renewables has been treated in this country is a bit of a joke, first thing is the grid/dno's need to get their bums into gear PDQ to plan and execute a network that can cope with the changing locations of electricity generation.
