I didn't take in the year this was made but was interested in the story about Apple i-pods with short lived non replaceable batteries and the court battle against them.

Obviously, Apple have found another ingenious way of ensuring that owners want/need to upgrade by deliberately slowing their products down after a couple of years, claiming it is a measure to prolong the life of the battery!
