That 0.05uf cap I replaced with a 0.1uf is actually in the anode circuit of the amp, as the tone control is effectively in parallel with the o/p tx. primary. There is no grid capacitor-the volume control doubles as the grid leak resistor, with the pickup connected between it's wiper & ground.
