Jeffrey I take on board all of your advice particularly the point about the on off switch. I have to be extra careful since I am battery operated via a pacemaker. Unplugging is also a very valid point. I will will make a capacitor discharger for my own peace of mind. I am in a position to order some more parts for the set, so I hope to make more progress next week. Depends on the outside temperature since my’workshop’ is in the shed.
