Sorry, Jeffrey and others, I meant to say that my Browser is Firefox, kept up to date. I also have Edge and IE installed but seldom use them. Terry, you're no doubt right, so, maybe I should (a) save any downloads I do want to keep, and (b) clear all the others. From time to time I do delete a few 'redundant' files, but have no recollection of setting anything to auto-run any program to clear Downloads.
