Most motherboards of a few years ago have at least another two USB ports that are not wired.
Have a look on the web for the pin outs as these will be based on the board maker and not HP.
I have seen motherboards from a branded manufacturer with no BIOS at all. It is on the hard drive so is very awkward if you want to upgrade the hard drive.
