One major problem encountered when planning a system, be it simple or complex, is finding sources of good quality splitters.
Quite by chance, I stumbled on a couple of useful sources a couple of days ago and, not only do they stock the right parts, their prices are very reasonable too!
I was pleasantly surprised to find these 2-way splitters for only £2.39 - this seller also has a wide range of bits and pieces, including screw-on F connectors to suit WF100 type cable.
Another seller also has 2-way splitters but he wants £4.29 for them.
However, he also has 4-way splitters (£4.82) and 8-way splitters (£6.92) and all these prices - both vendors - include delivery.
I set out in the beginning to show how to implement a simple RF Distribution System, with the emphasis on simple, but if anybody needs something a bit more complex - perhaps because of a long cable run - by all means post your requirements, giving as much detail as possible, and I will endeavour to help.
