Hi Peter.
I bet you went through a box of Kleenex tissues when you saw that disaster.
Like you I watch a fair bit of Talking Pictures and like to see the old cars in the films that I remember from when I was a boy. Certainly from around 1959 I was always remarking "there's an Austin 7 or a 10, Triumph Mayflower, Riley RM and many of the beauties around at the time. The number of prewar cars still around in the late 50's and 60's was quite remarkable. It was funny seeing a Mini from Dad's Ford V8 Pilot.
Watching these films and seeing the old cars and remembering most of them takes you back.
