My new monitors arrived this morning. No DVI inputs which is what I was using on my old monitors, just HDMI and Displayport. Only 1 HDMI output on my graphics card (Radeon R7 360 series) so got to try DP, which I've never used before. Fortuantely they supplied DP to mini DP cables with the monitors. Plug it all in with the monitors daisy chained. Can't get the PC to recognise that there are 2 displays conencted. It just duplicates everything on both screens.

So try HDMI to one monitor and DP to the other. Hooray! After a bit of mucking about it all works.

There ought to be a way of doing it with the DP daisy chain so what am I doing wrong?
