When I was working occasionally in Acton, I used to take the route past Willesden Junction and down Old Oak Common Lane,
I was always fascinated by a sign that read: 'No access for London Transport double deck buses'.
So, it was perfectly acceptable for all the provincial deckers to try to go under the 9' 6" headroom bridge ahead, then?
