Hi.
The plan later today is to make up line and field oscillators with 555 timers, I'd most likely feed them to a simple MOSFET for driving the scan coils, as said very little power is required. Id use an LM1881 for sync and something like a BF337 for video drive. It'll be a cobble up initially and if successful a proper build.
Oh I'm using a Chinese EHT module at the moment, may or may not stick with this approach will wait and see.
