Well the possibility of being able to use these dongles for analogue TV use is very interesting.
The link from David goes back to 2014 ans since then there hasn't been much more done in development, SECAM has been added and that could be useful for us that may want to try to resolve the 405 line Heritage transmissions when they start. The program detects syncs and then locks up the picture without oscillators etc so if it can detect 405 line syncs then we should in theory get a picture, SECAM being positive modulation could be the way to go.
I have sent a few emails on so lets see if they get answered. The other issue is at the moment SharpTV is only for windows as far as I can tell so I may try it in VM.
On my previous post with the screenshots I was looking at a 405 line signal from Franks Hedghog converter. Being fair I have the signals for testing etc so like i say this could be really interesting, the ability to reduce band width could mean the difference in resolving a weak signal or nothing.
