Al, I think you'll find that was Refugee!

I haven't taken part in this bit of the discussion as, for a start, many vintage sets have 'unpluggable' metal rectifiers of various kinds and some even have silicon diodes, so the argument is flawed from the start!

As Trevor says, those little ceramic decouplers rarely go leaky, so I don't see the point, anyway.
