Your probably right Tracey, though like any small club power politics comes into play, still, fair play on the bloke for standing up. Those power cables are like Xray spex advertised in a lot of comics back in the 70's; the whole audio thing has become very contentious with very strong feelings on both sides. It says more about human's than it does about "Hi end" components.
Up to, we talking broadband here? My BB goes up to 0.35Mbps but my currrent ISP, SSE were very upfront about the service when I signed up, they said they wouldn't provide service as the connection was so dire. I said I know, but to go ahead anyway as it was a lot cheaper than Plusnet - £13 as opposed to £31.
I hate the terms consumer, community, service and Brexit. The latter especially drives me nuts. The BBC use it all the time as do they "so called Islamic state" Hells teeth and Satan's underpants.
