There are many Neumatic vacuum cleaner models. The Henry and Hetty being the most common in domestic use.
There are much bigger models designed for industrial use, some twin motor, others with spark protection and other additions.
Vacuums can be complex, Nilfisk amongst others have Twin DC motors with soft start, flow sensors, PWM speed control and many have spark suppression.
Think of a factory with fine powders that need to be cleaned away, these inevitably are highly combustible and in a vac with a sparking brush type motor could and have caused explosions.
There is more to industrial vacuums than you'd think. The Henry and Hetty are in fact low end and low cost machines, the auto cable mech is not kind on the cable and one of the worst around.
