Having just made up & fitted a new mains lead & plug to one of the above, I checked the resistance between L & N with my DMM. On the 'Lo' setting I get a reading of about 950k-ohms, and on the 'Hi' setting 8 ohms. I know that a small circuit panel is in circuit on the 'Lo' setting, and presume that on 'Hi', the motor is wired directly across the mains, but can't find a diagram on-line to prove it (Don't want to dismantle the thing again) Can anyone confirm that my presumption is correct, please?
