Totally agree.
B&O would always have reasons telling customers that their research and production techniques made a superior stylus which produced less distorted highs and deeper bass. The average B&O customer accepted their blurbs. Don't get me wrong their stuff was good but often a nightmare to work on and not in the same class as our own decent hi-fi.
They also made some grim TV sets, the first hybrid CTV the 1500 black and white and those Thomson chassis derivatives were rubbish.
