Hi,
The praise is well deserved David because I've seen your work close up and it is superb.
WOW and WOW again what a collection of tools and equipment from the person giving up wood turning. I doubt there is a person anywhere that could make full use of a quarter of these. This guy is obviously fascinated by just owning the tools and has spent considerable time setting them all up. Any serious wood turning would instantly cover the lot in chippings and dust making such a workshop a nightmare to keep clean; even with my big extractor running whilst machining timber everything still gets a light dust coating.
You little tinker David side tracking me with a website like "Preloved" I've already spent half an hour on it and have found some really nice engineering lathes at very fair prices under "lathes" there's even a wood turning lathe for Jamie in Norfolk at £55 which would go nicely into Jamie's new shed? I've bookmarked the site and thanks for adding it.
I'm waiting to see pictures of your Lorch clockmakers lathe running as it's a little beauty and will give you endless hours of pleasure.
Kind regards, Col.
