We still have our DC04 lime and grey version bought in 1999. Some of the plastics are a bit cracked here and there but other than a couple of new brush bars, hoses and post motor filter it still beats the pants off a new cleaner.
We have a V6 used upstairs, the 15 minute run time is perfectly adequate and it is much easier than lugging the DC04 upstairs. I clean all filters three times a year.
