No doubt you're right, Trevor. I've seldom taken a deposit for items left with me for repair, yet , many years ago now, I knew someone else in the trade who did just that, and a local domestic electrical firm still does. (Apologies to all for two or three typos in my post #18, btw. They sould of course read 'one on the component side', and 'on UKVRRR, about another') Incidentall, as can be sen from the diagram on their pages , PavoUk do describe these as ATX PSUs.
