Faulty ATX PSU in Dr. Dre Beatbox - any suggestions as to cause. (Not ATX)

Try disconnecting the primary of T2 and see if you get a kick on the output when power is applied.
C7 is the start up capacitor and would be the go to component if there is no kick on the output.
