I'd be inclined to take up Marks offer. I know myself on the odd occasion no matter what you seem to do you get an elusive fault on SM power supplies.
One that keeps me from sleeping still was in 1976..... A Tandberg CTV2, eventually Tandberg took it and they replaced it FOC, with a note saying the original was unrepairable. Made me feel better but what was wrong with the Bl** dy thing??
