As the Beatbox isn't mine, Mark, I'd need to know what yould charge for checking/servicing the PSU, which, from what I've done by way of tests & component replacement,I'm convinced is faulty. Presumably a rate per hour for however long it takes? I've already spent a fair amount of time reverse engineering the circuit, fault tracing and parts replacement, but havent estimated a likely cost as yet. As to the 'HT' DC supply, since I haven't been able to measure it, I 'guesstimate' that it should be around 50v, maybe higher, because the two smoothing caps. associated with this are 63v types. The transformer providing the AC supply for this is fairly large as SMPSU Tx's go, too.
