Having, with great care, removed the top trim plate, I found that the circuit boards were attached to the inner top part of the cabinet by 3 x S.T. screws, so I've now been able to remove the complete radio assembly. Now to investigate and find the cause of the fault. I'm beginning to think that manufacturers deliberately make some things difficult to dismantle and repair,
