You'd need to get the poles in the right position to have any effect. Often the speaker magnet is hollow, and it has a central pole-piece coming from the BACK of the magnet, through the middle of the speech coil, and an annular pole-piece from the FRONT of the magnet, surrounding the speech coil. So the speech coil sits in a strong radial field.
