It has been already declared too slow for making bread. A modern fan oven took care of that only a couple of months ago.
The heating element is about 500W and is in an inner chamber that could be cut down and treated with modern insulation to make a large solder pot with the motor shaft hole blanked off with off-cuts from the top of the middle chamber.. If that were done the result would fit into a much smaller cabinet leaving the large case free for another project.
I have a wax pot already based on a gold power resistor. It only needs about 15W to melt old capacitors.
