Hi.
Like Andy I gave up the membership, I got the feeling that anything north of about Manchester didn't exist, which I felt was rather unfair. The mag is top quality but sometimes a little sparse in content, perhaps a lower quality offering but greater content could temp me and others back. Also the postal service could be improved, some prices are certainly not competitive and again to draw people into the hobby it should perhaps realise that all sorts from beginners to professionals are interested in radio.
I'm sure I am right in saying this the BVWS is a business and not a registered charity, put me right if I am wrong though. Being a business they should listen to their members and others that have left. Not sure about the payment either, a surcharge for Debit & Credit cards is unusual these days and a lot of people dont have a cheque book so if you go for a postal order you have to pay the fee for it too. Pay-Pal could be another option that could be added.
