Hello All,
I have been looking at the BVWS web site with a view to possibly joining. The website mentions the range of items membership entitles you to, but it almost seems too good to be true?
This statement ....
The Society regularly produces supplements for members, consisting of technical, historic and documentary interest. Over the past few years we have produced (with Copyright permission) two CD-ROMs of the Trader Service sheets 1 to 1900, a CD-ROM of all BVWS Bulletins no longer in print and a CD-ROM of all editions of 405 Alive magazine, several DVDs containing historic films, plus a number of other paper supplements and our own history book. These are all free to members.
Is this the case? Does membership include a large package of goodies? The above mentions the history book yet elsewhere on the site it is listed as available for £5? I do find the web site quite confusing.
Can anyone clarify for me please?
