Who's built a Heathkit ?

I built one of those in about 1975 - I actually had two - the first one arrived crushed, having been run over by a truck (judging from the flattened case and tyre print on the box).
It was a rubbish 'scope, but was enough for me as an aspiring EE. Used to get spares at HL Smiths in Edgware Road.
I was then sponsored through uni by STL Harlow, and they provided me with a very nice Tek 'scope & other kit during term time- I cannot remember what I eventually did with the Heathkit...
