That's what I would expect too.
Its a beast of a coil to wind, you will need to make a bobbin I assume.
Just a thought, would circular ferrite magnets out of magnetrons fit and turn it into a PM speaker? Save a lot of work, then you need a smoothing choke for the HT, or is it across the HT?
