That will always happen Old Sparky. You'll get them saying "what will we do without you etc" then you never see them again.
It's madness not to be making money, that is one reason we started in the trade many moons ago, what got me was those that demanded £15 repairs, would they expect a joiner or plumber to do work for peanuts. As a trade we never sold ourselves so didn't gain the proper respect we deserved.
Like David Boynes you need to shut shop, stop pandering to people that don't properly pay and enjoy your retirement.
