Hi.
This is the cheap and cheerful transistor (PP3 Battery) signal generator I have, it's rarely used TBH as I use the valve one. I had to open it up and resolder the PP3 connector but just look at the accuracy on 1000Khz & 470Khz. Uncanny.
So there is no need to spend lots of money on unknown kit.
